Because .com’s are so 2010. This blog is from the future!

Real­ly it’s because .is is just a domain from Ice­land.
Like how .co.uk is from the UK or .ca is from Cana­da.

And it lets all the URLs on my web­site form sen­tences.
Like alexweber.is/nerdy or alexweber.is/awesome.

And it’s all true, obvi­ous­ly.
